Bill Lyons Biography

Bill’s carefully crafted landscapes are meant to transport the viewer to a place they either remember or one they want to experience. With a background in commercial and architectural photography, Bill combines his technical expertise with his love of the environment to isolate pieces of the vast world around us. Color plays an important part in Bill’s images, not just as a representation of the scene but also as a compositional element.

Bill has a degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College and a degree in Color Technology from Brooks Institute of Photography. He has been published in numerous publications and works commercially for architects, interior designers, builders, magazines and others. He now lives year round in Wellfleet with his family and works from his offices there and in Boston.
