Judy Harmon Biography

The beauty and pleasures of her native New England inspired Judy Harmon to paint in her early years, and continue to inspire today. Her formal training began at Miami University in Ohio where she received her BFA in painting with honors. She continued her art studies at Pratt Institute’s Evening School while working in New York in advertising as a graphic artist.

Judy exhibited watercolors in the Philadelphia area while raising a family, and later, while back in advertising. In 1993 she moved to Cape Cod to paint full time, adding oils to her repertoire. She has won many awards in both mediums, plus signature membership in New England Watercolor Society and Philadelphia Water Color Society.
