A native of Ohio, Ron, began his professional career by starting a graphic design company in Los Angeles. It was after moving to a quieter, more spiritual life in Sedona, Arizona that Ron began to take painting seriously. It was here that he started to paint vibrant, saturated color portraits of his own dogs. He began visiting animal shelters and taking photos of other dogs and cats as models. After selling portraits of these images, he returned a percentage back to the animal shelters.
